Diagnosing American Healthcare

The first step towards reforming American healthcare into a free market is to clearly articulate and consistently defend the moral and political principles of such a system.

The second step towards reforming American healthcare into a free market is to understand the root causes of the problems facing the American healthcare system.

Without such an understanding, we will be blind to how American healthcare got to where it is now and blind to what steps are required to move it towards freedom.

What follows is our work on understanding the nature of the American healthcare system and the causes of its many problems, which provides the basis for reforming American healthcare through principled and practical health policy solutions.
